Heavy and spicy tobacco character with a distinctive feature of bergamot, as well as some sweet taste. A big prick that is dry on the surface with moist content for low purity and a lasting taste release.
A taste that is recognized [General snus]
General has a taste that many snusers recognize. The taste is spicy, with some peppery and touch of bergamot. Made of a mixture of twenty two different kinds of tobacco.
Four years searching for perfect snus [General snus]
General was launched in 1866, but it could be said that the story began already four years
earlier. Snuff manufacturer Johan A Boman was aiming to produce what he called “the perfect snus” and for four years the development work continued. He traveled all over the world hoping to find the best tobacco magazines and started experimenting with different combinations. The result eventually became a tobacco mixture of 22 different tobacco grades, with a drop of bergamot oil added.
